We are searching for a highly skilled program manager to contribute to DPI’s growth and help us maintain our position as an innovative authority. The ideal candidate will have aviation production experience as well as strong work plan development and progress oversight skills. The candidate will be expected to prepare and present progress updates to appropriate management channels on a regular basis, ensuring the innovation we seek is being achieved.

Duties and Responsibilities

This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks:

• Coordinate large aviation cabin management projects across Sales, Engineering and Production departments.
• Guide projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying scopes, schedules, stakeholder deliverables, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
• Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with staff from various functional departments.
• Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate internal and external stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes to ensure effective communication.
• Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements.
• Streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs.
• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans.
• Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and integrate their performance metrics.
• Structure and manage integrated, multi-track project performance databases for multiple aircraft cabin systems projects, with an eye on detail and overall progress.

• Have experience with aviation/aircraft systems, complex aviation systems projects, and working with engineering (software, hardware, systems), and manufacturing/production.

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, and/or Project Management or other related field
• Masters Degree in Business Administration, Project Management or other related field preferred
• Professional certification—including PMP/PRINCE II desirable
• 4+ years project management experience
• Aerospace experience highly desirable
• Hands-on experience with multi-faceted complex systems projects (preferably aircraft systems
• Proven success working with all levels of management and cross functional teams

Salary:  $75,000 – $90,000 per year
